Katie’s diverse professional journey spans financial organizations, the export and scrap metal industries, and both small-scale and nationwide club brokerages. This broad experience provided Katie with a unique understanding of various business landscapes, which naturally led her to the next logical step in her career: establishing Integrity Club Demo Solutions, Inc.
With her deep expertise in the inner workings of Costco’s operations, Katie founded the company to help businesses streamline their processes, eliminate losses from claims and demo audits, and ultimately achieve their goals in the competitive world of Costco retail.
Katie’s extensive experience across various industries has equipped her with a diverse skill set, enabling her to become a true expert in the club brokerage business. Her broad background has had a transformative impact on the work she does for Costco vendors, allowing her to navigate complex challenges and deliver exceptional results. Since 2012, Katie has been instrumental in helping suppliers effectively manage demo accruals and avoid audits while also ensuring that promotional activities are tracked and accurately documented.
Her expertise extends to preparing all required Costco documentation, preventing unauthorized deductions. Additionally, she has a proven track record of managing Costco purchase orders and shipments, ensuring compliance with Costco Buyers' requirements, and ultimately driving success for her clients in the highly competitive Costco marketplace. Jennifer Mencarini Director of Business Development and Sales
Jennifer has 30 years of experience in the food industry. She began her food industry career at Aidells Sausage Company where she managed the office, executed demos, and created marketing pieces for Bruce Aidell.
Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Safeway, InterLink Marketing Group, Advantage Sales & Marketing, and Innovative Club Partners had a notable influence on her vast experience. Jennifer managed the day-to-day business for the VP of Sales and Marketing, participated in demos, as well as managed the sports marketing contracts/relationships, and major events for Coca-Cola.
She moved on to Safeway as an Executive Assistant and was quickly promoted to Sr. Buyer in the sourcing department. Over the next 11 years she sourced ingredients and packaging for Safeway’s private label manufacturing plants, goods not for resale for the retail locations, pre-packaged produce items for private label retail side of the business. In her last role, she was an integral player in re-selling overstocked ingredients for the private label manufacturing facilities to minimize category losses when items were discontinued.
After Albertsons and Safeway merged, she took that experience to the sales side of the business and joined InterLink Marketing Group. She brought a unique view of the life of an item from concept to shelf that proved valuable to her teammates. At InterLink, Jennifer was responsible for growing client sales and managing the marketing funds at the Lucky, Savemart, and Foodmax chain. Here she earned many accolades from her clients for introducing new items, increasing sales on existing items, her out-of-box thinking, and persistence for getting the job done.
Jennifer’s ambition did not rest there. She joined Innovative Club Partners where she gained experience with helping vendors place their products within Costco. She was integral in the day-to-day operations for vendor onboarding through product landing at the Costco depot. She aided vendors with roadshows and demos while managing their accrual account. Here she built strong relationships with her clients as well as gained trust with the respective Costco teams. She was involved in growing sales for the business delivery and e-commerce side of Costco.
Jennifer enjoys spending time with her twin boys, Julian and Jacob. She goes to all their sporting events and is their biggest supporter! She has a strong sense of family and commitment and is seen as the ‘go-to gal’ within her family when they need help or advice.
